ZHE the Free is a multi-disciplinary artist, community builder and explosive performer. Growing up on Treaty 7 Land, she extends her fire from mountains to prairies. ZHE is a poetic emcee who brings the power of the feminine alive through her lyrical prowess. She brings the heat; igniting the crowd from the moment she touches the microphone by combining her skilled flow with a captivating stage presence. From freestyle, to brilliant storytelling, ZHE pulls you in with her energetic hype and strong command of the mic. She is an Artist Mentor with Chokecherry Studios, a Science Genius hip hop Ambassador, she serves on the JUNOS Rap Music Advisory Committee and she is a presenter of rap/spoken word workshops with Live Arts SK, Paved Arts and CAMP Sask. In her work with youth, ZHE brings incredible enthusiasm. "Hip hop saved my life, and I aim to inspire others to use creativity as a positive outlet". With her music, ZHE explores emotions and addresses social issues. She connects with audiences on a deep level through the realness she brings to the stage and powerful messages she shares.
