Odario is a storyteller, a hip-hop junkie and a lover of all things analog. Born in Guyana, and raised in Winnipeg, he acknowledges his prairie upbringing as a major influence in his unique career... and cites Peg City as a hotbed for creative self expression. His solo record, Good Morning Hunter, expresses all of these qualities; seamlessly exploring hip-hop, beat poetry, drum & bass, house and rhythm & blues. Odario's father was a local DJ in the 80s & 90s, which sparked an early interest in bass & trouble. Today, Odario hosts CBC Music’s Afterdark program and is currently writing a new album titled, We Are Animals.
