DJ Lucky Sharms

Karen Sharma (she/her) is your local queer auntie, best known for keeping you moving on the dance floor as DJ Lucky Sharms. Focusing on hip hop, dancehall and dance, Karen has been playing festivals and clubs since 2019.  She is an organizer with Queer People of Colour Winnipeg, creating spaces for 2sQTBIPOC to feel seen, safe and celebrated.  When she’s not DJing, she’s at work as the Executive Director of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, helping promote and protect human rights in Manitoba, or volunteering as the Chair of the Board of the Women's Health Clinic.
